2. New Members
Approved eighteen new memberships.
New member packets to be mailed week of 3/3/03.

3. TCMA Annual Conference Sponsorship policy
Approved “In-kind” and “Local sponsorships” amendment to the policy.
To be implemented as approved.

4. 2005 TCMA Annual Conference location
Authorized TCMA staff to pursue Galveston as location of 2005 TCMA Annual Conference
Underway.

5. NASA Columbia-related recognitions
Board approved three awards for activities related to the NASA/Challenger incident
Underway.

6. Award of Clarence E. Ridley Scholarships
Board approved two scholarships and accompanying increase in budget of $5,000 to cover additional scholarship.
Award recipients to be notified week of 2/11/03.

7. Award of Barney Knight/CPM Scholarship
Board awarded one scholarship.
Award recipient to be notified week of 2/11/03.

8. ICMA Fund For the Profession
TCMA will match contributions made from 2/9/03 through 6/30/03 to the ICMA Fund For the Profession up to $10,000.
To be implemented as approved with notification going to members the week of 3/3/03.

9. Probationary language in TCMA Sample Employment Agreement
Referred to the TCMA Membership/PR Committee for consideration.
To be discussed at committee meeting on 3/27/03.

10. Guidelines for TCMA co-sponsor events
Approved as presented.
To be implemented as approved.

11. Executive Committee position descriptions
Approved as presented.
To be posted to the TCMA Web site and included in future nomination information.

12. Severance agreement follow-up survey
Approved concept and directed staff to compile and send follow-up survey.
To be implemented as authorized.

13. Public Policy Development follow-up survey
Approved concept and directed staff to compile and send follow-up survey.
To be implemented as authorized.

14. City Administrator/Manager Openings Information
Board decided not to password protect this information on the TCMA Web site.
