TCMA
Board Meeting
1. Minutes from meeting on June 26, 2008
Approved.
Minutes will be filed and posted on the TCMA Web site (www.tcma.org).
2. New members
Approved eight new memberships.
New member packets will be mailed the week of September 2.
3. TCMA ethics training requirement
Encouraged TCMA Life and Distinguished members to attend annual ethics training, but removed the mandatory training requirement.
To be implemented as approved.
4. TCMA committee name change
The TCMA Board changed the name of the TCMA Public Relations Committee to the TCMA Communications Committee.
To be implemented as approved.
5. ICMA membership drive program
TCMA will partner with ICMA to encourage TCMA city managers from cities under 10,000 population to join ICMA. Up to fifteen ICMA reimbursements will be budgeted in FY 2009-2010.

6. TCMA 2008-2009 strategic plan
Approved the 2008-2009 TCMA strategic plan.
To be implemented as approved.
7. TCMA FY 2008-2009 budget
Approved the 2008-2009 TCMA budget.

8. TFLG 2008-2009 budget
Recommended the TFLG Board approve the 2008-2009 TFLG budget.

9. Texas Foundation for Local Government 2008-2009 budget
Approved the 2008-2009 TFLG budget.
