New member packets will be mailed the week of September 7.
4. TCMA Ethics Committee – ethics cases
Approved public censure and expulsion from TCMA membership (Painter); approved a private censure of another case.
Notification letters sent August 31, and notices included in September TCMA newsletter.
5. 2009-2010 TCMA strategic plan
Approved the 2009-2010 TCMA strategic plan.
To be implemented as approved.
6. 2009-2010 TCMA and Texas Foundation for Local Government (TFLG) budgets
Approved TCMA budget as presented.
Recommended approval of the TFLG budget as presented. To be implemented as approved.
7. TCMA Board job descriptions
Approved updated TCMA Board job descriptions as presented (director-at-large and TML Board representative descriptions will be revised and approved at a later meeting).
To be implemented as approved.
8. TCMA Communications Committee
Abolished this TCMA committee.
Approved. Notification will be sent to the committee members.
9. TCMA Legislative Committee
No action taken. Jim Jeffers will talk with Frank Sturzl and bring this item back at the next TCMA Board meeting.

10. TCMA Legacy Leaders
Task Force
Approved the creation of the task force.
