Texas
Foundation for Local Government
About the Foundation
This small, efficient
group of volunteers has a clear mission to improve the effectiveness,
accountability, and management of local government. Governed by the Texas
City Management Association, it is a tax-exempt 501(c)3 organization with
a mission "to strengthen communities through innovative, effective educational
programs for local officials, citizens, and children." Toward this goal,
the Foundation has developed the Our Town, Texas program.
